MEET THE OWNER

My name is Samra and I’m the founder and owner of Gypsy Pools! We are a Florida Stock Tank Pool Company located in the beautiful Tarpon Springs!

We are excited to be bringing our love of stock tank pools and affordable ways to have your own outdoor oasis to everyone!

The number one question I get asked is “How did I come up with the idea to start this business?” Well, I can tell you I’m not the first to do this but at the time of creating Gypsy Pools, there wasn’t anyone else in Florida doing this. I bought my home in 2019 and renovated it top to bottom…on the inside lol saving the backyard for later. And that’s when cov*d hit and prices for all things home improvement went through the roof! I started looking on Pinterest for affordable pool substitutes and kept coming across these cool stock tank pools. So I went on the hunt and quickly realized how hard they are to source, especially larger sizes as well as the Hastings brand which is what I preferred. Fast forward to May of 2022 and I started back on my hunt and kept confirming how hard they still are to come by and a light bulb went off. Being a realtor as well I realized what an amazing solution these really are for Floridians who do not have a pool! I felt a literal push to start this business and fast forward to today we have a warehouse full of Hastings tanks in 4 of their largest sizes and I get to do this for a living with my boyfriend, friends, and family!

With the prices and wait-for lists for the pools these days, stock tank pools are truly an amazing way to elevate your outdoor space. They are easy to maintain and affordable, and they can be painted any color or design (as long as we have the capability-we are not Picasso here haha) Standing 2 feet tall and between 8-11 feet across, they are the perfect size to lounge, float, dip, sit, stand, wade, and/or chill in! Also called plunge pools, cocktail pools, margarita pools, watering troughs, tank pools, and too many more to list…..

Keep in mind that even though they’re affordable, they are still considered a luxury, and even though they are easier to maintain than traditional pools, they do still require upkeep.

Can’t wait to get you into a Gypsy Pool to be enjoying your own private paradise!
